He's a big burly lovable eloquent articulate guy. He gets his metaphores from deep down in his soul. "Throwing small dry flies like a wisp of cotton" in Two is perfect--and anyone who has thrown a 2, 3 or 4 weight understands it immediately. Is he wasting his talent painting or making jewelry all day? Should he just take up writing for the Pulitzer? NO----my guy Bern can do it all. But he can't take out a kidney!!!
